There's a special community in St. Louis that's cultivating truth, beauty, and connectivity. It's a place where people come together to share their real-life stories, both funny and serious, and where listeners navigate a sea of emotions. This amazing platform is known as St. Louis Storytell, a distinctive storytelling event that neatly wraps real-life experiences into engaging tales.

The Heart of St. Louis Storytell
In a conversation with Arnold Stricker from Saint Louis In Tune, Peggy Ray, the Project Manager for St. Louis Storytell, shared their unique approach to storytelling. Founded by Jennifer Wainscott, a therapist with a passion for storytelling, St. Louis Storytell started as a storytelling party at her house. It soon grew in popularity, transforming into impactful storytelling events that have been attracting audiences for over a decade.

The St. Louis Storytell team comprises individuals with different skillsets. While some excel at creativity, others like Peggy bring a knack for organization, ensuring that Jennifer's creative energies aren't exhausted on logistical challenges. Together, they deliver a seamless event grounded on the principle of human connection.

The Storytelling Event

St. Louis Storytell events are unique in nature. At each event, six people go on stage to narrate a true story from their lives. But storytelling is more than just narrating events; it’s about sharing experiences and connecting on a deeper level. Hence, St. Louis Storytell ensures that its storytellers are well-prepared. Each person who pitches a story undergoes a creative workshop where they work on their narration, content, and the essence of their story. This preparation helps people share their tales in a way that makes the audience relate, empathize, and see the world through their lenses.

An upcoming St. Louis Storytell event on February 24th will see six individuals sharing their stories based on the theme 'Crime and Punishment.' The event promises to connect its audience through diverse tales and experiences, encouraging them to look at life through different perspectives.
